Thomas and Lesley founded the academy with a shared dream: to bring more training, better development, and greater opportunity to ice hockey players in Australia and neighbouring countries. Their vision was to create an academy that is accessible to everyone-affordable, inclusive, and committed to delivering high-quality training and education for both players and coaches. Both Thomas and Lesley are deeply invested in the growth and long-term success of ice hockey in Australia. Their involvement spans all levels of the game, from grassroots to national development. This includes volunteering as club coaches, serving in leadership roles such as club president, sitting on committees, and supporting athlete and coach development programs. They have also contributed at the national level, including coaching at the IHA National Development Camps for U13 and U17 athletes, and supporting international development opportunities such as taking the Ice Crocs team to Quebec in February. They have also proudly started the Stotta (You have hte swedish spelling of this) Program to support players in their ice hockey journey both finanaically and non-financially.
